Uber has not been a well liked company in the transportation business by other transportation companies. Especially those being put out of business due to not being able to beat their prices. Uber is now offering another service in order to target a whole other side of the transportation business in Stamford Connecticut and surrounding areas.

Uber is attempting to take the corporate companies by storm offering an advanced booking option. The Connecticut Uber Team announced this past Thursday that advanced appointments anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 days in advance will be available in Hartford, Stamford, Bridgeport and New Haven. This service was tested in Seattle in June where riders can use the app to schedule, confirm and cancel their appointment. The app also sends out reminders to customers of their upcoming appointment. It is said that this new service came in response to the reports that Uber lost more than $1.27 billion in the first half of the year. It is no surprise that this overnight hit company has since came up with multiple ways to expand it’s revenue in more ways than one.
